February Updates

Well, that just flew by...February is in the books, it was a busy month..exciting news youth sports are able to start playing, which is going to lead to lots of soccer...this will require me to stay focused on the goal.

Feb went well...we were out of town and I missed a few days so slightly off track but I can catch up...Still enjoying the intervals.

Excited to say, haven't really changed up the diet and was still successful in dropping 6 pounds...maybe this stuff is working...LOL.

Walking was consistent when in town, rowing a little off...so time to focus... 2% off from my goal...

Here are my numbers...

Totals for February:
Rowed: 60K meters
Walked: 63 miles
WODS: 6

YTD Totals:
Rowed: 144.2K meters (14% of goal)
Walked: 142 miles
WODS: 16

January Update

Wrapping up the first month of the year....Wholly cow how is that possible...

Feeling good this week.  Really liking the intervals, they are a lot but good way to break it up.

A little sad...did my weigh for the end of the month and added a few lbs...So I guess they are right, diet does matter...:(

Only 1 WOD this week(slacked a little bit), walking was consistent, exceeded the weekly goal on rowing, and met my first month goal...

Here are my numbers...

01.25.21 Update - Road to a Million

One more week in the books.  We got our new items for the gym..good start still looking to add a few more things.

Feeling great this week.  Added some variety in my rowing this week.  Some intervals, some included in the WOD and a long one broken into speed and then slow...it was a good one.

Made an acrylic board to keep track of my rowing more easily...day by day of the week and then a total for the month...should make like easier.

2 WOD's this week, walking was consistent, exceeded the weekly goal on rowing, It's looking good for meeting my first month goal...

Rowed: 67K meters
Walked: 63 miles

Thinking it will be easier to change my post schedule to once a month, so I will post next week at the beginning of the month and then the first week of every month moving forward.

01.18.21 Update - Road to a Million

Quick update this week.  Feeling good...getting into the habit of doing my new routine...That's always the hardest part for me.

Have a few new things coming for the garage gym, some lighter weights for Sofi along with a couple of pads...old knees are fragile...LOL

Only got 2 WOD's in this week, walking was consistent, came up a little short of the goal again this week on rowing, better than last week...

Walked: 47 miles

First full week of 2021

It was a great week, feeling pretty good for the most part, lower back is a little sore. Not sure if it is from the rowing or just a combination of things. Going to start rolling out a bit more after my rows/WOD’s

One thing I have come to realize is that I need to come up with a better visual way of keeping track of my rowing meters. I log all my work outs including rowing in Beyondthewhiteboard and have been for many years. It is awesome but just doesn't easily show me what I have done this week…so I need to calculate stuff…well that’s no fun…So stay tuned I will let you all know what I come up with.

Happy to say I got 3 WOD's in this week (and Sofi joined me for all of them), walking I am pretty consistent, but I came up a little short of the goal for the week on rowing, that's ok...I have plenty of time to catch up…:)~ Here are my numbers...
